By COLIN FARQUHARSON Title favourites Philip McLean (Peterhead) and Keith Watson (Deeside) were knocked out this morning in the quarter-finals of the North-east Alliance scratch foursomes for the Evening Express Shield at Murcar Links. The Peterhead rookie pro, who won the individual North-east Alliance championship, and his amateur partner lost by 2 and 1 to another rookie pro, Fraserburgh's Kris Nicol, and Banchory amateur Fergus Bisset.
