Following on Kenny Hutton's success on Thursday in the pro-am over his home Downfield course, Keith Baxter also put his local knowledge to good use today in the PGA Scottish seniors four-ball stroke-play competition over 18 holes at Keith's club, Buchanan Castle.
Baxter and Alastair McLean (Duddingston) teamed up well in the rain for a better-ball round of 66, four under par, to win approximately £500 each.
They won by two shots despite a better-ball double bogey 6 at the last where one of the pair lost a ball.
Joint runners-up on 68 were Kenneth Kelly (Baberton) and Steve Kelly (Tulliallan) whose score was matched by Peter Kerr (Hayston) and Garry7 Harvey (Kinross).
