Alan Lockhart wins Midland Alliance meeting at Lundin Links

The Midland Golfers' Alliance season restarted after the winter break at Lundin Links Golf Club. The Fife course was in fine condition and Ladybank assistant professional Alan Lockhart led the way in the scratch with a superb, four-under-par score of 67.
John Leddy, a nine-handicapper at Bathgate, won the handicap with a net 65 and the team of Paul Brookes (Pitreave), Dennis Redford (Murrayshall), Chris Westland (Alloa) and Davie Huchieson (Murrayshall) won the team competition with a score of 57.
