Scots youngsters in Brazil

for Nick Faldo Series

Grand Final

Four Scotland-based youngsters and two Anglo-Scots are in Brazil for the golfing trip of a lifetime.
They are among the worldwide qualifiers for the Nick Faldo Series Grand Final, being held outwith Britain for the first time at Costa do Sauipe Golf Resort on the northern coast of Brazil from October 25 to 31.
The Scots among the 80 finalists from over 30 Faldo Series qualifying tournaments in the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia are:
Christopher Robb (Inchmarlo, Banchory), pictured right by Cal Carson Golf Agency), Calum Stewart (Brora), Andrew Wallace (Glenbervie), Gillian Monteith (Portpatrick Dunskey) and Anglo-Scots Stuart Ballingall (De Vere Dunston Hall) and Alasdair Dalgliesh (Haywards Heath).
There are five age-group categories for the boys, from Under-21 down to Under-15.
Wallace is competing in the Under-21s, Ballingall and Dalgleish in the Under-81s, Robb in the Under-17s and Stewart in the Under-15s.
The girls have one category, Under-18 years.
The Faldo Series is supported by the European Tour, the R&A and the PGA.
