Kevin Duncan from Ellon, Aberdeenshire - a student at Clayton State University, Atlanta - finished joint eighth with a three-over-par round of 75 in the one-round Orchard Fall Invitational college tournament at The Orchard Golf & Country Club, Clarkesville, Georgia.
Team-mate Neil McBride from Glasgow shared 14th place with a 77.
Two other Clayton State students, Wade Binfield and Will Willcox, figured in a triple tie with Taylor gary (Piedmont) for victory on the 69 mark.
