McGowan and McNicoll tie on 69 at
Midland Alliance at windy Forfar

This week's Midland Golfers' Alliance, held at a blustery Forfar Golf Club, produced a tie for first scratch between Burntisland assistant professional Kris McGowan and Scotland international Keir McNicoll, a +5 member of Carnoustie Golf Club.
They both had level par scores of 69.
There was a tie also in the handicap section with Hugh Hunter, who plays off 10 at Alloa Golf Club, matching a net 69 by David Black, a 12-handicapper at Dunfermline Golf Club.
