McCREADIE AND KELLY LEAD LOW
SCORING AT FALKIRK TRYST

Clober's Chris Kelly had an albatross 2 and an eagle 2 on his scorecard - but he still did not lead at the halfway stage of the £10,000 Callaway/Audi 36-hole Scottish PGA tournament at Falkirk Tryst Golf Club, the fourth of five events in the series.
In the pole position with a seven-under-par 63 is Jason McCreadie (Buchanan Castle), bouncing back quickly from his disappointment at failing to advance to Stage 2 of the European Tour Qualifying School process.
McCreadie was out in five-under-par 30 with birdies at the first, third, fourth, seventh and eighth. After getting to six under the card with a birdie at the 10th, he dropped his only shot of the round, a bogey at the short 11th, before picking up the thread again with birdies at the 13th and 16th for 33 home.
Kelly ended the day two shots off the pace in second place on five-under 65 despite holing a full second shot at the 541yd par-5 second hole. He also birdied the ninth to turn in four-under-par 31.
Chris was a shade more erratic after the turn ... an eagle 2 at the 12th (305yd) where he drove the green, and birdies at the 16th and 18th, but also three bogeys, at the4 11th, 13th and 15th for 34 home.
Robert Arnott (Bishopbriggs), one of a quartet sharing third place on 66, also had an eagle, a 3 at the 501yd 18th in halves of 34 and 32.
Scott Henderson (Kings Links) did well to finish on 66 after starting with a double bogey 6. He had an inward half of 31.
