Little wins £2,235 first prize
at Dumfries & Galloway
Euan Little (County Tipperary) scooped the first prize of £2,235 at the Kerr Investment 36-hole pro-am with an eight-under-par total of 128, made up of rounds of 63 and 65.
The Scottish youths amateur champion of 1995 and 1996, Euan had two shots to spare from David Orr (East Renfrewshire) who earned £1750 with a pair of 65s for 130.
Lowest score of the two days over the Dumfries & Galloway short course was a six-under-par 62 by Mark King (Kingsfield), enabling him to share third place on 132 with Lindsay Mann (Carnoustie), Colin Gillies (Perry Golf), Stephen Gray (Hayston) and unattached Englishman Jonathan Lomas. They each earned £878.
