Jimmy Gunn from Dornoch, campaigning as a professional on the Gateway Tour, finished joint 14th and earned $1,766 in its latest event at the Tonto Verde Ranch course, Rio Verde in Arizona.
Gunn scored 69, 71 and 68 for an eight-under-par total of 208, a good total but one which left him nine shots behind the winner of the $15,000 first prize, American Chris Sessler with 68, 64 and 67 for 199.
Gunn has now won $2,848 from seven events on the Gateway Tour.

He is 76th on its money list.
