David Law and Jack Scott win Paul
Lawrie's Under-18 & Under-16 Opens
David Law (Hazlehead), who decided to play in the Paul Lawrie Junior Open at Deeside Golf Club on Sunday rather than represent Scotland in Monday's schools international match against England at Royal Lytham & St Annes - he had played in last year's match - won the Under-18 scratch section
David had a round of 73, one shot ahead of Murray Patterson (McDonald Ellon) and Ryan Bain (Strathlene). Murray took second place with a better inward half.
The Paul Lawrie Under-16 Open was won by Deeside's Jack Scott who had a brilliant round of 69 over his home Bieldside course. He won by four shots from Andrew Carroll (Peterculter) and Euan McIntosh (McDonald Ellon). Andrew's better inward half earned him second prize.
