Bats in The Belfry ... that's what it looks
like as British Masters' third round is
far from completed

It' a toss-up whether there are more players with third rounds still to complete than those who are on the 54-hole mark as The Quinn Insurance British Masters, hit by bad-weather delays at The Belfry in the West Midlands, limps into the fourth and final day.
South African Charl Schwartzel is the leader on the clubhouse at six-under-par 210 after a third-roun 66 but there are three players at seven under par, who will be going out early Sunday morning to play their final third-round holes.
They are New Zealander Michael Campbell (-7 after 14), Mikael Lundberg (Sweden) (-7 after 14), and Spain's Alejandra Canizares (-7 after 10).
There are another four players at six-under-par still technically out on the course but who will be resuming their third rounds on Sunday morning. They are Gonzalo Fernandez Castano, Jeeves Milka Singh, Ross Fisher and Lee Westwood.
Paul Lawrie is four under par after 13 holes of his third round.
