New from British boys' championship at Little Aston

Inchmarlo's Tom Spencer beat Matthew Johnson (Chipping Norton) by 2 and 1 in the first round of the British boys' open amateur championship at Little Aston Golf Club, near Birmingham.
That win earns Tom a second-round crack at the title-holder from Spain.
(Apologies to Tom Spencer's mum for getting the score the wrong way round off the R&A website! If you see anything wrong on any golf report on this website, do not hesitate to E-mail Colin@Scottishgolfview.com and will put it right.
Mark Bookless, winner of the Scottish boys' stroke-play at Blairgowrie recently, bowed out after one tie, beaten 4 and 2 by Sam Bates (Kirby Muxloe).
