STORM BREWING UP A LAST
ROUND CHALLENGE IN
JOHNNIE WALKER CLASSIC
Graeme Storm overcame illness and a largely sleepless night to stay firmly in contention going into Sunday's final round of the Johnnie Walker Classic in Delhi, India.
Storm appeared completely drained after carding a three-under-par 69 at DLF Golf and Country Club, putting him on 11 under par 205 alongside Phillip Archer and Greg Chalmers - three shots behind tournament leader Taichiro Kiyota of Japan.
"I don't know how I got round there because it's been so hot and I hardly got any sleep last night," said Storm. "I've just done that on adrenaline, I think."
He added: "I felt so bad and I didn't think I was going to play, but I got something off the physios and that seemed to help a little bit.
"I don't know whether it's the food or a bug that's going around because everyone seems to be getting a dose of it. I'm not sure what it is."
India's Jyoti Randhawa and Mark Brown of New Zealand are one stroke adrift of Kiyota.
