The English Golf Union, English Women’s Golf Association and the Professional Golfers’ Association are supporting this one day event to be held at Drayton Park Golf Club, Abingdon, Oxford on the 23rd April 2008.
Internationally renowned speakers from the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland include Professor Joan Duda and Professor Aidan Moran, as well as Peter Mattsson, the Director of Coaching at the EGU.
The conference has been approved by the PGA for 25 PDP points.
The conference will focus on:
*The role of psychology in developing young golfers.
*Increasing the quality and quantity of motivation in players.
*Improving concentration skills.
*Promoting positive change in golfers.
The conference is targeted at golf coaches and teaching professionals, county and club training officials and anyone who would like to know more about the psychology of golf.
