Blue Chip New Zealand Open championship

HENDERSON FAILS
TO QUALIFY FOR
LAST TWO ROUNDS

Scott Henderson failed by three shots to make the halfway cut in the Blue Chip New Zealand Open at Gulf Harbour Country Club in Auckland.
The Aberdonian had rounds of 73 and 74 for 147. Only those with 36-hole totals of two-over-par 144 or better survived.
Henderson had a double bogey 7 at the fourth today. His only birdie came at the long 17th.
At the other end of the scoreboard, Australian Wade Ormsby, pictured right, had only 22 putts in setting a course record of eight-under-par 63. He shares the halfway lead on seven-under 153 with Englishman Nick Dougherty (69-66).
