SCOTS TRIO FOR EISENHOWER TROPHY

RAMSAY, JAMIESON AND MURRAY CHOSEN:
NO PLACE FOR LLOYD SALTMAN

As forecast on this website a week or two ago, Walker Cup player Lloyd Saltman has not been included in the Scotland team of three to take part in the men's world amateur team championship for the Eisenhower Trophy at De Zalze and Stellenbosch Golf Clubs, South Africa from October 26 to 29.
The players chosen will head out to South Africa ahead of the competition to acclimatise to the conditions and familiarise themselves with the courses which will determine a short game.
The Scotland trio are:
Richie Ramsay – Royal Aberdeen
Scott Jamieson – Cathkin Braes
George Murray – Earlsferry Thistle
(pictured on right).

Non-travelling reserve: Lloyd Saltman - Craigielaw
Non-playing Captain: George Crawford
+Look out for our coverage from the Eisenhower Trophy on this website later this month. You will be able to read the scores and the reports every night BEFORE you read about it in your newspaper next morning.
