NORTH-EAST PAIR TO PLAY v ENGLAND

FRASER AND SPENCER IN SCOTLAND
UNDER-16 TEAM FOR HARTLEPOOL

Northern Golf Club’s Scott Fraser is vice-captain of the Scotland team for Sunday’s Under-16 golf international match against England at Hartlepool Golf Club.
Also in the team of 10 is Tom Spencer (Inchmarlo Golf Centre), pictured right.
Neil Marr, head professional at Meldrum House Golf Club, is the coach and captain of the squad.
It is:
Colin Baird (Bothwell Castle), Sam Binning (Old Ranfurly), Mark Bookless (Sandyhills), Scott Fraser (Northern), Sam McLaren (King James VI), Frazer Ogston (St Andrews), Paul Shields (Kirkhill), Kyle Smith (Barassie), Tom Spencer (Inchmarlo), Michael Stewart (Troon Welbeck).
Maurice Shields is the team manager.
England will field three players new to international team golf.
The three are Liam Brace (Stoke by Nayland), Gary King (Tyrrells Wood) and Garrick Porteus (Bamburgh Castle).

The rest of the line-up is Billy Downing (Truro), Tommy Fleetwood (Formby Hall), Eamonn Hodgson (Sunningdale), Adam Myers (Northants County), Eddie Pepperell (Frilford Heath), Darren Renwick (Worthing), and Oscar Sharpe (Minchinhampton).
Sussex-based Renwick, 16, is a former winner of the Scottish under 16 Championship.
