SETANTA STRIKE DEAL WITH US PGA TOUR

DEDICATED GOLF CHANNEL WILL TEE OFF IN JANUARY

Setanta Sports, one of Europe’s leading international pay-TV sports broadcasters, has announced the launch of its dedicated golf channel - SETANTA GOLF - in partnership with the the United States PGA Tour.
From January 2007, the Setanta Golf channel will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering viewers the chance to watch the US PGA Tour action live.
Setanta Golf will be the first dedicated golf channel in the UK & Ireland to provide live coverage of more than 50 US PGA Tour events.
“We are very excited at the prospect of working with Setanta Sports as a new broadcast partner, making it the home of the US PGA Tour in the UK and Ireland,” said US PGA Tour Commissioner, Tim Finchem.
