SCOTS FIND FORM IN LAST ROUND

The Scots representatives in the final of Europe’s biggest pro-am championship, the Lombard Trophy, redeemed themselves in Saturday's closing round over the Ocean course at Vale do Lobo.
After disappointing opening 75s by both Edzell and Cardross, the Edzell side of pro Alastair Webster and nine-handicapper Mark Haggerty improved by nine shots for an aggregate of 141, Webster rattling in six birdies on his own ball.
Cardross pro Robert Farrell and another nine-handicapper, Neil Sandison, knocked five shots off their opening round, carding a two-under 70, the pro claiming four birdies.
The Parc Club from Newport in South Wales were comprehensive winners, PGA Cup player Richard Dinsdale teaming up to stunning effect with six-handicapper South Korean, JP Kim, and returning rounds of 65 and a 10-under 62 for a three-shot win over Nottinghamshire side, Rushcliffe.
