COVERAGE OF NORTH ALLIANCE

SCORES WILL APPEAR ON THIS WEBSITE

First the North-east Golfers’ Alliance, now the North Golf Alliance scores will appear soon on http://www.scottishgolfview.com/, thanks to my good friend Robin Wilson who has been secretary now since 1974, he tells me.
It may take us a week or two to get the service up and running because Robin, pictured on right, is going on holiday first and then, when he returns, I am off to sunnier climes for a week.
But after that we’ll get the North Alliance on the same basis as the North-east Alliance with results available ASAP after each meeting.
There is a chance that we will be able to welcome the Midland Alliance to the fold. Hugh Hunter, the past Scottish Golf Union president, has been working as an intermediary in this respect and we should be able to tie down some arrangement shortly.
In the meantime, here are the North Golf Alliance dates and venues:

22 Tain.
29 Reay.
NOVEMBER
5 Invergordon.
19 Wick.
DECEMBER
10 Brora.
JANUARY
21 Tain.
28 Struie.
FEBRUARY
11 Reay.
25 Wick.
MARCH
4 Brora.
11 Durness.
25 Tain (prizegiving in the Tain clubhouse at the conclusion).
