RAMSAY, SALTMAN IN THE STATES
Walker Cup players Richie Ramsay (Royal Aberdeen) and Lloyd Saltman (Craigielaw) are in the field for the United States amateur championship at Hazeltine Golf Club, Chaska in Minnesota.
The tournament starts next Monday (August 21) with qualifying rounds over the Hazeltine and Chaska Town Courses.
Tony Jacklin won the 1970 US Open at Hazeltine.
