Jack Lockhart wins at windy Dalmahoy West

Scottish Junior Golf Tour
Here are the results from the Scottish Junior Golf Tour Fun Family Xmas event at Dalmahoy on the West course. Once again we were lucky. The weather was okay apart from a strong wind.
It was a better-ball team competition in addition to the individual competition which was 9:9ParGolf where only the best nine holes count.
Despite the strong wind the scoring was excellent. Jack Lockhart had the best score of the day with seven-under-par 27, closely followed by John Jack jun with 28.

The junior handicap prize was won by Emma Waugh (Bothwell Castle) with an eight-under-par score.
Bob Lockhart won the adults' handicap prize, also with an eight-under-par score
The team event was won in a count back by Bob and Jack Lockhart and Aamar Saleem with a score of 61 (seven under par).1.
The handicap team event was won by the Waugh family with net 52.
The Skills Challenges were won by the Aboyne team of Keith and Rhys Sim and Bill and Jamie Gibb.

Roddy McAuley wins Junior Tour event
with a 69 at Drumoig

Here are the results from the Scottish Junior Golf Tour event at Drumoig on Sunday. We were very lucky with the weather, a nice dry day, as the rain seemed to pass both sides of us.
The greens were in particularly good condition which allowed for a lot of birdies. The format was normal stroke-play. The best score of the day came from Roddy McAuley (Fereneze) who had a four-under-par 69.
Ross Laird won the U14 section with a great score of one-under 72.

Double whammy by Aamar Saleem at Monifieth in Scottish Junior Tour event

Here are the results from the Scottish Junior Golf Tour event at Monifieth yesterday on the Ashludie course. The course was in great condition with the usual fast greens and with the weather being so pleasant it was a great day to play golf.
The format was normal stroke-play. The best score of the day - one-under-par 67 - came from Aamar Saleem (St Andrews) in the U15 years section and also Sebastian Sandin (Dunblane) in the U18 years category.
Saleem also won the putting competition
Congratulations to Jason Balman from Dunblane in getting his first hole in one at the ninth

Evanna and Aamar top the Junior Tour bill at Elmwood with 71s
The best scores at the Scottish Junior Golf Tour's first event of its winter series at Elmwood on Sunday were returned by Evanna Hynd (Elmwood) and Aamar Saleem (St Andrews).
They both scored 71 which was level par for Aamar from the men's medal tees and two-under-par for Evanna on the women's course.

Fereneze's Roddy McCauley shines at Scottish Junior Golf Tour event
Results from the Scottish Junior Golf Tour event at West
Kilbride yesterday. The format was 9:9Golf where only your best nine holes
count.
A good format on the day as conditions became very difficult with
increasing wind and rain. Thankfully the greens were in good condition and
held up well in the rain. Oblivious to the conditions, Roddy McCauley had the
best score of the day with 7 under par 28.
