NE Alliance Handicap tables sponsored by WLM Golf

 IT'S THE BATTLE OF THE DAVIDS FOR 

CLASS 1 ORDER OF MERIT TITLE

It's table leader David Fleming (Portlethen) versus second-placed David Mackay (Hazlehead), the NE Alliance joint sec, for the £50 amateur voucher donated by teaching pro Willie McKenzie's WLM Golf Company to the winner of the Handicap Class 1 Order of Merit.
The competition closes with the second round of the Alliance championship at Craibstone Golf Club next Wednesday and Fleming's current total of 1100pt gives him a 75pt lead over Mackay.
Only the five (and ties) prizewinners in Class 1 earn weekly points as follows: 1st 250; 2nd 200; 3rd 150; 4th 100; 5th 50.

Plenty of scope there for Mackay to turn the tables in the Battle of the Davids. At the same time, the advantage lies with Fleming who
is in the driving seat.
The £50 amateur voucher will be presented in the Craibstone Golf Club's Brimmond Bistro clubhouse restaurant after all is done and dusted next Wednesday.
The Climber of the Penultimate Week, but too late to affect the top placings, was a 19-place leap by Robert O'Donnell (Oldmeldrum).
Good performance, Robert, but no cigar!
