OLD AND NEW FACES IN LINE-UP FOR RANFURLY MAY 16-18

ANGUS NAME THEIR SIX FOR SCOTTISH
AREA TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 
Angus team for the Scottish area team championship at Old Ranfurly and Ranfurly Castle from May 16 to 18 is:
Raymond Perry (Monifieth)
Chris Hutcheon (Monifieth)
Gary Tough (Edzell)
William Bremner, jun (Edzell)
Danny Elder (Carnoustie Caledonia)
Duncan Cairnie (Carnoustie Caledonia)
Team Officials
Harry Barnett (Edzell) 
Campbell Donaldson (Downfield)

 PEN PICTURES OF TEAM
Raymond Perry: Raymond is a deputy headmaster in Dundee and is the current Monifieth Links champion.
Chris Hutcheon: Chris is the nephew of the legendary Ian Hutcheon who at the age of 71 defeated Chris in last year's club championship.
Gary Tough: Gary could be described as the old warhorse of the team. He recently returned to county representative golf after several years away. He had appeared for the six-man team on several previous occasions
William Bremner, jun. William beaten finalist in 2007 and is a stalwart of Angus county golf. He has appeared in several area team championships.
Danny Elder. Danny is a regular in Angus county teams and is the current Carnoustie Links champion. A very long hitter he can score very low
Duncan Cairnie.  Duncan is the foreman greenkeeper on the famous championship course at Carnoustie. Made his Angus county debut against Fife in the Provan Salver last weekend. He is the current Carnoustie Caledonia club champion.
