WEST OF SCOTLAND ALLIANCE
McCREADIE SHARES LANARK POT
WITH YOUNG ASSISTANT GALLAGHER
Buchanan Castle's Jordan McCreadie continued his winning streak at West of Scotland Alliance competitions although he had to share the pot with Jordan Gallagher, the young Douglas Park assistant, at the Lanark Golf Club fixture this week.
Both ended on two-over-par 72, a shot ahead of pros David Orr (Mearns Castle) and Chris Currie (Caldwell) and young Williamwood amateur George Burns.
A field of 62 players, even with the threat of rain (which did not appear), enjoyed the test set by the Lanark course. One comment praised the condition of the fairways in particular as being better than most of the coastal courses at this time of the year.
