MARTIN LAIRD MISSES HONDA CUT
AS BRIAN DAVIS LEADS HALFWAY

Englishman Brian Davis leads at the halfway stage of the US PGA Tour's Honda Classic at the PGA National's Champions' Course at Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Davis has shot 65 and 67 for 132 to lead by one from American Matt Jones.
Overnight leader and compatriot Luke Donald fell away with a 74 - 10 shots more than he required in the first round - to be in joint 12th place on 138.
Martin Laird from Glasgow missed the cut by one shot with 69 and 76 for 145.
