MACAULAY AND BOOTH CONFIRMED FOR
PLACES IN EUROPE TEAM FOR
MICHAEL BONALLACK TROPHY MATCH

As exclusively forecast on Scottishgolfview.com a week or two ago, two Scots, Callum Macaulay (Tulliallan) and Wallace Booth (Comrie), have been named in the Europe team to play Asia-Pacific in the biennial amateur golf international match for the Michael Bonallack Trophy at Valderrama, Spain from April 25 to 27.
Macaulay and Booth are the only two Scots in the top 50 of the R&A World Amateur Golf Rankings.
The teams are:

EUROPE - Bjorn Akesson (Sweden), Wallace Booth (Scotland), Sean Einhaus (Germany), Nigel Edwards (Wales0, Benjhamin Hebert (France), Alexandre Kaleka (France), Shane Lowry (Ireland), Callum Macaulay (Scotland), Pedro Oriol (Spain), Joel Sjoholm (Sweden), Chris Wood (England), Daniel Willett (England). Captain: Gonzaga Escauriaza (Spain).

ASIA-PACIFIC - Rohan Blizzard (Australia), Shih-Chang Chan (Chinese Taippei), Ming-Chuan Chen (Chinese Taipei), Varur Chomchalam (Thailand), Anthony Fernando (Philippines), James Gill (New Zealand), Yuki Ito (Japan), Bi-O Kim (Korea), Yeong-Su Kim (Korea), Danny Lee (New Zealand), Tim Stewart (Australia), Naoyuki Tamura (Japan). Captain: Roger Brennand (Australia).
