MICHELE AND EMILY MAKE HUGE IMPROVEMENT
Michele Thomson from Ellon and Emily Ogilvy from Auchterarder made a huge improvement on the third day of The Spirit mixed amateur team better-ball tournament at Whispering Pines Golf Club at Trinity in Texas.
They matched the par of 72 compared with their earlier efforts of 78 and 81.
But it was not such a good day for the other half of the Scotland team - Scott Mann (Carnoustie) and Scott Borrowman, the Scottish youths champion from Dollar.
