HUTCHEON AND McKINNON WIN £965
APIECE IN PORTLETHEN PRO-AM

Greig Hutcheon (Peterculter) and Jim McKinnon (Irvine) shared the top prize with seven-under-par 65s in the Portlethen Golf Club pro-am on Saturday.
They both received £965.
Hutcheon birdied the second, third, fourth, sixth, 11th, 13th, 15th and 18th in halves of 32 and 33. He had one bogey, at the 10th.
McKinnon had two bogeys, at the 10th and 17th but he had birdies at the second, third, fourth, seventh, ninth,13th and 15th and - vitally important - and eagle 3 at the last which enabled him to tie with Hutcheon.
McKinnon also led the Aiken Sheet Metal 1 team to victory in the pro-am event with a net score of 16-under-par 56. The team members were Neil Jolly (handicap 18), Bruce Finnie (18) and Mike Dalgarno (7).
