SENIOR BRITISH WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

CHRISTINE QUINN LEADS BY SIX STROKES

The second round of the Senior British women's open amateur stroke-play championship was completed at Dumfries & County Golf Club this morning.
Play had to be suspended on Thursday afternoon - due to a waterlogged course - with 27 players will to complete their second rounds.
The cut fell at precisely the point forecast by the computer - 41 players with 36-hole tallies of 170 or better qualified for the final 18 holes.
Christine Quinn led by six strokes going into the final round.
