SCOTTISH MEN'S AREA TEAM RESULTS

Opening results in the Scottish men's area team championship today were: 

Group A – Lanarkshire 4 ½, Fife 4 ½ (at Drumpellier); Lothians 6 ½, Argyll & Bute 2 ½  (at Duddingston).

 

Group B – Angus 5 ½ , Clackmannan 3 ½  (at Monifieth), North-east 6 1/2, Dunbartonshire 2 1/2 (at Murcar)

 

Group C – Renfrewshire 8, Stirlingshire 1 (at Erskine); Ayrshire 7, Borders 2 (at Ballochmyle).

 

Group D – Glasgow 3, Perth & Kinross 6 (at Glasgow Gailes); North 5, South 4 (at Nairn).
