JOEL HENDRY SLIPS BACK IN ARKANSAS

US NATION WIDE TOUR EVENT
Twice Scottish youths champion Joel Hendry from Elgin was lying in joint 60th place with a three-over-par tally of 213 in the Rheem Classic, the latest US Nationwide Tour event, at Hardscrabble Country Club in Arkansas.
Hendry, who has been based in the United States for the best part of 10 years, had a double bogey 7 at the third in his third round 73 which was offset by birdies at the sixth, 11th and 13th. But he did have single bogeys at the first, fifth, 14th and 16th.
His earlier rounds were 72 and 68 over the par-70 circuit in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
American Darron Stiles led the field into the final round at 14-under-par 196 with scores of 66, 66 and 64.
