HONOURS AT MUSSELBURGH

It was off to the East Lothian venue of Musselburgh Golf Club for today's Edinburgh and East of Scotland Alllance at which  64 East Alliance members contested the Ramsay Trophy.
The Greens Team at Musselburgh done a great job in getting the course ready for us after the monsoon weekend and all enjoyed their game in pleasant weather.
Play was from the par-69 (35-34) Yellow Tees today and top scratch and handicap scores were 67.
On the Scratch front the top score of 67 was shared by Ian Anderson (Shotts) and Neil Henderson (Renaissance Club).
Third place on 69 was shared by Zander Culverwell (Renaissance Club) and Andrew Oldcorn (Ratho Park).
On the Handicap front top prize was shared on net 67 by John Bell (Glenbervie) (73 less 6) and Scott Girvan (Baberton) (76 less 9). 3rd Handicap on net 68 went to Scott Fraser (Mortonhall) (72 less 4).
The Ramsay Trophy Winner went to best back 9 from 4 players with Neil Henderson winning narrowly on 32 ahead of Scott Girvan on 32.5 with Ian Anderson and John Bell both on 34.
Top Senior was local man Ian Fyfe (Musselburgh) on net 68 (72 less 4) and Top Trainee was Michael Bacigalupo (Glen GC) on 71.

Order of Merits sees some moving of places at the top -

3. Ross Callan (Bathgate) - 79.5
4. Willie Laing (Prestonfield) - 66.0
