A blast from the past - Billy Sim wins at Banff

Late entry Billy Sim - a big blast from the past - was a late entry for Duff House Royal's 18-hole open on Saturday ... he won the top prize with a gross round of 67.
Billy is home on holiday from Hacienda del Alamo with his wife Gina and their two sons, Daniel and Andrew and daughter Kelly-Anne.
Billy, who helped to construct the Newmachar Hawkshill course as a member of Dave Thomas's team in the 1980s, has been director of golf at Hacienda del Alamo, Penina, Parque da Floresta, San Roque and Salgados.
Not a bad CV for a Turriff loon!
Billy is playing in the Kippie Lodge pro-celam at Peterculter Golf Club this coming Saturday. He is quite approachable if anyone wants his autograph.
