Billy (age 80, handicap 21) achieves
his 17th hole in one ...
Billy Bradshaw of Greystones Golf Club in Ireland achieved his 17th hole-in-one at the weekend.
Fair enough ... but, wait a minute, Billy is 80 years old and has a handicap of 21.
At that age and with that handicap he should be finding it difficult to hit the greens let alone hole his tee shots at par-3 holes.
It was the Greystones official Saturday medal, it was official.
It happened at the 167-yard 11th hole - the same par 3 where he had his 16th ace in July. He also used the same club, a newly acquired Titleist driver. And he had used the same club to score his 15th hole-in-one, at the fourth hole in Royal County Down, last February.
