This week's Midland Golfers Alliance was held in gale-force conditions at Kirkcaldy Golf Club. There was a tie for the first scratch prize on two-under-par 69 between Eric Walker, the Burntisland assistant professional, and Lee Vannet, the Carnoustie Links professional.
Leading the way in the handicap section was James Milne (Drumoig) with a superb net score of 67 off 12.
