Alan has no shortage of fellow Scots working in the area. Here are some of them:
Andrew Whitelaw
Director of Golf at Emirates Golf Club. Andrew is PGA and from Longniddry originally.
Elliott Gray.
Golf Operations Manager at Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Elliott is PGA and also from East Lothian originally.
Craig Skimming.
Golf Operations Manager at Al Badia Golf Club. Craig is an amateur who originally worked for the Scottish PGA as a tournament controller. From Cathcart Castle, thinks Alan.
David Stevenson.
Golf Division Manager of Pro Sports. Previously he was the United Arab Emirates national team coach. Now works for the company who are official distributors for Ping, Titleist, Cobra and Greg Norman clothing among others. He has been in Dubai longer than any of us, says Alan Mackenzie.
