TAIWAN OPEN LATEST

BARRY HUME FOUR SHOTS BEHIND HALFWAY LEADER

Former Scottish amateur golf champion Barry Hume from Glasgow is lying joint 10th on four-under-par 140 at the halfway stage of the Taiwan Open at the Sunrise Golf and Country Club.
Barry has had rouns of 71 and 69 over the par-72 course to be only four shots behind leader Gary Rusnak (United States), 70 and 66 for 136.
Two more Scots among the 73 players who qualified for the final two rounds with totals of 147 or better was Simon Yates and Ross Bain. Simon had 70 and 71 to be joint 12th on 141. Ross had 72 and 71 to be sharing 24th place on 143.
A fourth Scot, Simon Dunn, missed the cut with 80 and 77 for 157.
