SOUTH-EAST DISTRICT OPEN
GLENN CAMPBELL WINS THREE-WAY
PLAY-OFF AT FOURTH
EXTRA HOLE AT LONGNIDDRY
There was an exciting climax to the South-east District Open 72-hole championship at Longniddry today.
Three players tied for the lowest 72-hole aggregate - nine-under-par 263 - which meant that youngsters Robert McKnight (Barassie), Shaun McAllister, the Scottish boys' open stroke-play champion from Craigielaw, and last year's Scottish match-play champion, Glenn Campbell (Blairgowrie) went into a sudden death play-off for the title.
Campbell, pictured right, won it ... at the fourth extra hole.
