ENGLISH COMPETITORS PLUNDER
THE PRIZES AT RALSTON G C
Glasgow Youths Open golf prizelist was plundered by the English at Ralston Golf Club today.
Simon Lee (Newcastle United topped the individual returns with a 64 and 71 for a five-under-par total of 135 and a four-stroke win from another North-east of England competitor, John Curry (Prudhoe) (71-68)
Northumberland, for the second year in a row, won the team event by a resounding eight shots from Ayrshire with a total of 274. Their line-up consisted of Simon Lee, John Curry and Peter Ridden.
