Duncan Stewart selling shares in himself again

to finance 2016 campaign on Challenge Tour

Grantown-on-Spey's Duncan Stewart, now attached to Turnhouse Golf Club, Edinburgh has mapped out his 2016 campaign and he is looking to fund it by selling shares in himself. He was the UK innovator of this method of financing his golfing operations.
"In 2016 I am going to be focusing on the Challenge Tour as well as playing a few mini-tour events early in the year until the Challenge Tour tees off properly in April," says Stewart.
"I am selling shares again to help fund my golfing travels. This will be the fourth year that I have done this. It has been a huge help in the past and plays a huge role in allowing me to compete.
"The breakdown is going to be the same as last year. There is a total of 300 shares for sale at £100 each and I put 50% of my prize money each week into the share fund.
"This is then split at the end of the season between all shares sold. There is no limit to how many shares any one person or company can buy and there are different advertising opportunities for companies if they buy a certain amount of shares.
"In two of the past three seasons that I have sold shares everyone who has invested has made a profit, so companies have actually made money while having their company advertised throughout the year."
Stewart adds that there are only just over 100 or the maximum 300 shares left to purchase.
"The deadline for buying shares is the end of April but I would urge anyone interested to get in touch as soon as possible to find out if there are still some shares left.
"There is also still some logo spaces available for anyone who may wish to have their company advertised for 2016. I am very grateful to those who have invested in me so far and look forward to speaking with any new shareholders.
"I am extremely fortunate to have so many people believe in me as this allows me to compete year in year out.  If anyone is interested in investing in me in 2016, all the details are on my website www.duncanstewartgolfer.co.uk or please contact me at duncanstewartgolf@hotmail.co.uk."
Stewart has also explained his attachment to Turnhouse Golf Club which came into force last year.
"When I knew I was going to be moving to Edinburgh I had to find somewhere to practise. I spoke to Doaky (Chris Doak) at an event one week and at the time he was attached to Turnhouse and he recommended it to me," said Stewart.
"The practice facilities are one of the best in Edinburgh. The course is very good and it is an extremely friendly and welcoming golf club so the whole package ticked all the boxes for me.
"The Turnhouse officials and members  have been fantastic from the start and do anything they can to help me."
