South of Scotland were second on 371 and Argyll and Bute, who were beaten on a countback for third place last year, went one better this to secure the bronze medals.
Nick Robson (Meldrum House), who has been in fine form this season, had the best individual score of the day with an excellent 68. He was ably supported by clubmate Barry Brooks 73, Ian Angus (Duff House Royal) 74, Andrew Campbell (Murcar Links) 74 and the Royal Aberdeen duo of Jim Emslie 72 and George Paterson 78.
The South of Scotland team were headed by a 71 from Ian: Ian Brotherston (Dumfries and Co) and a 73 from clubmate Ian Reid.
Argyll and Bute's top scorers were George Reynolds (Rothesay) and Gordon Tyre (Blairmore and Strone), both of whom had 72s.
The CSS for the day was 72 for the par 71 course and confirms the quality of the North East performance in winning this event for the first time since 2009.
