LOW SCORING IN US PGA EVENT IN MEXICO
Russell Knox shot a two-under-par 69 in the first round of the OHL Classic at El Cameleon Golf Club, Carmen down Mexico way on Thursday.
It's going to be a tournament of very low scoring, judging by the early figures. Some 76 players scored under the par of 71.
Knox's sub-par was good enough only to get hm into T45.
England's Greg Owen matched the par of 71 and he is T77! On the same mark is Spaniard Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano.
Another Englishman, Brian Davis, had a 73 for a share of 107th place. Ireland's Padraig Harrington is still struggling. He finished with a 74 for T118.
