£1,000 FIRST PRIZE AT TRUMP INTERNATIONAL, £850 AT DEESIDE

The Paul Lawrie Golf Centre Scottish Ladies Open Tour will have a £1,000 first prize for the first time in the next event, the third on the schedule, at Trump International Links, 12 miles up the coastline from Aberdeen, on Monday, May 6.

The Saltire Energy Classic 1, over 18 holes, will have £2,000 sponsorship money (Saltire Energy Group + Paul Lawrie Golf Centre)  to boost the income from the entry fees.
The Saltire Energy Classic 2, over 18 holes, at Deeside the next day, Tuesday, May 7, will have a first prize of at least £850.
The reason for the difference? Not so many competitors have so far entered the Deeside event as have entered for the Trump International competition.
That could change, of course. Another five entries, lady pro or amateur, would push the top Deeside prize nearer the £1,000 mark.
Amateurs would be restricted to a prize voucher worth £500 in value.
